Choco Blocks
Description
Choco Blocks is a block-placing puzzle on a 10x10 grid with a sweet extra goal. As in other games of this kind, you pick up groups of blocks and drop them onto the board, and filling a complete row clears it away to make room for more. What changes the usual routine is the chocolate. Special choco blocks are tucked into the rows, and your real objective is to collect all of the required ones before the timer runs out. That means you cannot just fill lines wherever it is convenient; you have to plan your placements so the rows that hold chocolate get completed first. The result is a pleasant mix of calm spatial thinking and gentle time pressure. It is ideal if you enjoy grid puzzles but want a clearer target than simply chasing a high score. Tips
- Prioritize the rows that contain chocolate blocks, since those are the ones that count toward your goal.
- Keep an open space for awkward shapes, so you are not forced into a bad placement later.
- Glance at the timer now and then, and speed up your decisions when time starts to run short.
