Reach Fifty
Description
Reach Fifty is a number puzzle where every move is an addition problem. The board holds squares and shapes marked with numbers, and your goal is to combine them so that each group adds up to exactly fifty. You move a piece by selecting it and swiping in one of four directions. When it slides into another piece, the two merge into a single square carrying their combined value. Hit fifty and that piece locks in place for good, so it can no longer be moved or added to. A level is solved once all the pieces have been brought together into totals of fifty. That locking rule is what makes it tricky. A frozen fifty can block a path you needed, and going over the target leaves you stuck. Across sixty levels the layouts grow more complex, so careful planning pays off far more than trial and error. Runs entirely in your browser; no account needed.

How to play
- 1Click or touch a square, then swipe in a direction to slide it horizontally or vertically.
- 2When two squares collide they merge into one with the sum of their values.
- 3A piece that reaches exactly fifty freezes and cannot be moved again.
- 4Combine every piece into fifties to clear the level and move on to the next of the sixty stages.
Tips
- Add up the numbers in your head before each move to make sure you will not overshoot fifty.
- Think about where a finished fifty will freeze; avoid locking a piece in a spot that blocks other moves.
- Start with the largest numbers, since they have the fewest possible partners.
