Space Memory
Description
Space Memory is a card-matching puzzle with an outer space theme. The board is filled with face-down cards, and each one hides a space-themed picture. You flip cards over to see what is underneath, then try to find the pairs that belong together. The rules are the classic ones from the memory games many of us played as children. Turn over two cards; if they match, they stay revealed, and if they do not, they flip back and you have to remember where each picture was. A level is complete only when every pair on the board has been found, and then you move on to the next one. It is a relaxed game that still gives your short-term memory a proper workout. Because it only needs a mouse or a touch pad, it is easy to play almost anywhere, and it works well for younger players as well as adults looking for a short mental warm-up. How to play
- 1Click a card with your mouse or touch pad to flip it and reveal its space picture.
- 2Flip a second card and try to match it with the first one.
- 3Matched pairs stay open; cards that do not match turn back over.
- 4Find every pair on the board to finish the level and continue to the next.
Tips
- Work through the board in a fixed pattern, such as row by row, so card positions are easier to recall.
- Say the name of each picture in your head as you reveal it; naming things helps you remember them.
- When you already know where one half of a pair is, flip an unknown card first and then go for its match.
